The Principal Secretary for Public Investments and Assets Management, Mr. Cyrell Wagunda, alongside his Economic Planning counterpart, Dr. Bonface Barasa Makokha, today attended a Senior Management Preparatory Meeting on the Mashujaa 2026 Celebrations Thematic Week on Economy (Finance) chaired by the Principal Secretary for the National Treasury Dr. Chris Kiptoo.

The meeting brought together the Ministry’s technical team to deliberate on the planned activities for the thematic week, scheduled for 12–18 October 2026.

Discussions focused on a range of activities, including exhibitions, citizen engagement, thematic sessions and other programmes aimed at highlighting key aspects of Kenya’s economy and financial sector.
