PS for Public Investments and Assets Management , Mr. Cyrell Wagunda joined fellow Principal Secretaries in reviewing the tender award process of minerals at Mrima Hills, Kwale County.

The meeting was hosted by PS for Mining Harry Kimtai and attended by PS Eng. Festus Ng’eno Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry and PS Gitonga Mugambi State Department For Forestry.

The engagement focused on ensuring that the mineral resource development process upholds transparency, accountability, and prudent management of national assets.

In line with the mandate of the State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management, PS Wagunda emphasized the importance of safeguarding Kenya’s strategic resources and ensuring their optimal utilization to support economic growth and deliver value to citizens.

The discussions also highlighted the role of responsible resource management in advancing the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) through sustainable investment, improved asset governance, and enhanced service delivery across government.

Senior officials from the respective State Departments were also in attendance.
