The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management (SDPIAM), Mr. Cyrell Wagunda, hosted the Department's audit exit meeting at the Treasury Building today  with representatives from the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG), led by Deputy Director of Audit Mr. Fred Abuga.

​The meeting served to review a comprehensive, month-long audit report detailing the State Department's utilization and stewardship of public resources, conducted in strict accordance with the Public Audit Act.

In his address, PS Wagunda appreciated the Auditing exercise as a sure way of verifying compliance with the accounting required standards. He appreciated significant milestones of the Department and outlined key targets set for achieving in the FY2026/2027.

Also in attendance were Secretary Pensions Mr. Michael Kagika, Secretary Administration Dr. Bahati Mwita, Director of Public Procurement Mr. Eric Korir and senior officials.
