The Principal Secretary for Public Investments and Assets Management Mr. Cyrell Wagunda today hosted officials from the Office of the Auditor General for an entry audit meeting of financial records for the financial period ending 30th June 2026.

The team led by Mr. Fred Abugah shall audit the expenditure of the State Department for the exchequer allocation in line with provisions of the Kenyan Constitution and the Public Audit Act of 2015.

The PS who was accompanied by the various Departmental Heads in the State Department expressed his steadfast support to the auditors and urged the relevant departments to submit all requisite documents for smooth auditing process.

The process is expected to run for eight days after which a comprehensive report shall be compiled by the auditors.
