The Principal Secretary for Public Investments and Assets Management Mr. Cyrell Wagunda has congratulated the  Directorate of Public Private Partnerships Kenya  (PPP) for achieving remarkable milestones in the financial year  ending today among them mobilizing Sh. 96 billion in private capital investments against a target of KSh. 60 billion signing Four (4) critical Project Agreement and timely submission of Financial Reports to parliament alongside others.

Speaking during the Performance and Strategy Review Retreat in Naivasha the PS commended the Directorate for expanding the number of projects being undertaken through the PPP framework from 36 to 54 to date and strengthening partnerships to enhance the capacity of Contracting Authorities in project preparation.

He observed that, the exemplary performance is as a result of teamwork, professionalism, resilience, and a shared commitment to public service across various teams.

“As expectations continue to rise, we must consistently challenge ourselves to deliver services that are faster, more innovative, transparent and responsive to the needs of Government, investors and citizens alike. As we step into the next financial year, I urge you to strengthen partnerships with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) as well as County Governments to enhance project quality and expand our pipeline of viable PPP projects,” said the PS.

“Remember that every assignment you undertake contributes to a much bigger national vision. The responsibility of unlocking our nation’s potential is one we should carry with pride, humility, and unwavering determination.  We continue working together with a shared purpose, we will deliver the transformative infrastructure and services that Kenya deserves,” the PS affirmed.
The Director General of the PPP Directorate  Eng. Kefa Seda thanked the PS for the continued support saying the various milestones couldn’t have been achieved without his steadfast dedication to support the Directorate.
